e) Workshops (in small groups in different types of papers). The participants can bring their laptops to work together with one or two supervisors working in different type of papers. Working on uncompleted papers to work on it. Unsubmitted papers to work on it.

Note: The workshops can be organized in other languages than English depending
of the participants and the supervisors.


General Information
Date and Venue
All sessions of the Course will be held on March 30th - 31st, 2012 at the Department of Archives and Library Science of the Ionian University, situated at Ioanni Theotoki 72 street in the centre of Corfu.

Official Language
The official language of the Course will be English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
Name Badges
All registered participants must wear the Course identification badge. Entrance to the course hall will not be permitted to any person without badge.


Certificate of Attendance
Certificate of Attendance will be provided by the secretariat upon request and only upon display of the registered participant's badge.

All participants who wish to register for the course are kindly requested to complete the Registration Form and send it to the Administrative-Organizing Bureau, Conferre Ltd., by e-mail or fax. The Registration Form will be available on: http://www.osmci.gr.
Registration Fee includes:

  • Admittance to all scientific sessions of the Course
  • Course Material
  • Refreshments during the coffee breaks, light lunch
  • Certificate of Attendance
  • Participation in the workshop. Limited number of participants. Pre registration is required until February 28th 2012 or until the maximum number of participants is reached (no extra fee is requested).

Notes:
1. Please note that no Registration Form will be accepted unless accompanied by proof of full payment (copy of bank remittance sent by fax to the Administrative-Organizing Secretariat, tel: +30 26510 68610, fax: +30 26510 68611).
2. Written registration cancellations received before/on February 20th, 2012, will full refunded. Written cancellations received after this date will not be entitled to any refund. All such amounts will be settled after the Course.


Accommodation
A number of rooms at special rates have been reserved in walking distance from the course venue. All participants are kindly requested to apply for accommodation via the website using the Accommodation Form.
TIP: Do not leave your hotel arrangements too late. Requests will be honored a first-come first-served space-available basis. Accommodation form will be available from January 16th 2012 and until February 28th 2012. After this date the organizing bureau cannot guarantee availability in the suggested hotels.

Liability and Insurance
The Organizing Committee as well as the Organizing - Administrative Bureau will assume no liability for injuries or losses of any nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, or for the damage to, loss or theft of their personal belongings. Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance.
