Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Center of Ioannina

Professor Emeritus Ejnar Eriksson, MD from the Karolinska University Hospital Stockholm Sweden visited the OSMCI during the scientific session that was held on 1st September 2008. Professor Ejnar Eriksson presented to orthopaedists, biomechanists, and physical therapists the new trends as to the overuse sports injuries as well as the most recent knowledge as to the management of anterior knee pain of the athletes.
In the scientific session also participated the Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy of TEI of Patras, Elias Tsepis. He gave a lecture as to the physical therapy after anterior cruciate ligament injury and reconstruction as well as the key points based on recent guidelines.
