Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Center of Ioannina

Two members of the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Center, physical therapists, Sofia Xergia and Spiros Georgiou, participated in the 22nd Congress of the Hellenic Scientific Society of Physical Therapy which was held on 14-16 November 2008 in Athens with one poster and one oral presentation.
The oral presentation entitled:

"Electromechanical delay of knee flexor muscles is impaired after harvesting the hamstring tendons for ACL reconstruction", S. Georgiou, D. Giotis, S. Ristanis E. Tsepis, E. Motsis, A.D. Georgoulis

While the poster:

"Sloped walking affects gait variability"
